Біографія художника:
Long Chen, a Chinese artist, curator, and poet, received his Master of Arts from Peking University in 2005, which is among the top universities in China. His multiple works are characterized by a variety of forms, including ink painting, calligraphy, photography, graphic design, mixed media, installation, and computer art. In 2020, the 50 representative works at his solo art exhibition "Amateur" at the Beiyitang Museum in Beijing showed that he is an artist with a profound artistic background and talent.
Artist Long focuses on the research and expression of the role of theatricality and satire in contemporary matters, topics, and methods. Especially the tension between conventionality and modernity, individuality and universality, information and media, in which art attempts to call for action. Such as his large-scale representative ink painting, called With Mask, etc.
Chen has more than 20 years of experience in creation, teaching, and curation. In Beijing, China, he has served as a guest lecturer at Peking University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, etc. and has successfully participated in many major and well-known art projects, curated art exhibitions and written critical/review articles for artists, contributing to the promotion of art discovery, inheritance, research, innovation, and cross-cultural exchanges, such as:

Using contemporary art to critically reflect is another characteristic of artist Long in the field of visual art. The core research areas mainly include: contemporary art and grotto art, image and representation; character and symbol, art and objects, meaning and materials, visual culture and technology; and the role of poetry in aesthetics and spiritual construction, and so on.
In addition, Long Chen has extensively explored important cultural sites in China and Central Asia, studied sculptures, murals, and ancient rock paintings, and visited top art galleries and museums in more than a dozen countries in Europe, America, and Asia.
