De World Association of Artists (ook wel WAA genoemd) is een professionele lidmaatschapsorganisatie die zich inzet voor het bieden van een platform op mondiaal niveau voor het promoten van de unieke stijlen, thematische projecten en gespecialiseerde creaties van kunstenaars; waardoor hun publieke zichtbaarheid, kunstwerken en persoonlijke reputatie worden verbeterd; en vervolgens hun artistieke vertrouwen, sociale invloeden en concurrentievermogen op de markt vergroten.
Nu de mensheid het internettijdperk en de 21e eeuw binnengaat, kunnen kunstenaarsverenigingen op regionaal of nationaal niveau moeite hebben om te voldoen aan de behoeften van kunstenaars die op zoek zijn naar nieuwe uitdagingen en ontwikkelingsdoelen op hoog niveau. Omdat de hedendaagse kunstwereld een mondiale kunstgemeenschap is geworden, maakt het niet uit uit welk land of welke regio je komt, maakt het niet uit van welk ras je bent, en maakt het ook niet uit wat voor taal je spreekt. We kunnen over kunst praten en elkaars kunstwerken bekijken op de professionele platformsites ter wereld. Dus als een kunstenaar een diepgaande ontwikkeling nodig heeft op het gebied van creatie of communicatie, moet hij/zij misschien op een platform van wereldklasse staan om zijn/haar artistieke talenten te tonen. Alleen zulke kunstwerken kunnen voldoen aan de normen van de wereld, voldoen aan de internationale beoordelingsspecificaties en zijn bestand tegen mondiale inspecties. Omdat de kijkers van over de hele wereld komen, kunnen dit soort werken lange tijd verspreid worden en geliefd zijn bij de wereld.

Also, the World Association of Artists has been certified and registered by the USPTO and the International Bureau of the WIPO. (The WIPO is a specialized agency of the United Nations.)
