Submitting Artwork for Competition

ATTENTION*

If you want to participate in the WAA International Art Competition 2023-2024, please SUBMIT one self-portrait, three own artworks, an artist bio, and work info HERE (only official place) IMMEDIATELY after REGISTERING for membership.

The Competition Deadline** of Submitting Self-portrait, Artworks, Artist Bio, and Work Info, etc.:
January 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM, Capital of the US/Eastern Time (ET)

**It is not the deadline to register for the WAA membership.

 

You may submit any kind of artwork (such as Painting, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Drawing, Mixed Media, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art, or others).

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ARTWORK(S)

  1. Enter your name and email in the “Your Name” and “Your Email” fields.
  2. Add your post contents in the simple editor area to complete your Artist Bio and Artwork Information with a brief description of you and your artwork(s) in the third person. (For example: Who is Leonardo? What type of materials and mediums were chosen to create his artwork? Why? Where did he get inspiration for creating this work? What is his original purpose, unique theme, and target viewers? What does he expect his viewers to feel, think, and resonate with?)
  3. Except for uploading your self-portrait, submit up to THREE (3) JPEG images of your pieces of art, at 100 DPI resolution, with the MINIMUM FILE SIZE of 500X500 Pixels and the MAXIMUM FILE SIZE of 700X700 Pixels (0.5 MB) for each image. Important: we can only accept jpegs. Please do not submit other format files. If you do so your submission will not be reviewed. Label your artwork with the “COMPETITION“, “Title” and “Your Name” (for example, “COMPETITION_Mona Lisa_Leonardo da Vinci”).
